My Miss Neenee went back to school yesterday. As in yesterday. What about summer? Where did that guy go? I have to admit, it still has not really sunk in that summer 2015 has come to a screeching halt. I mean, there were so many things we were going to do this summer. For the past several years, we have done one of those summer bucket lists. Of course with school deciding to slip up on us like this, we barely made a dent in that list. Ya’ll time is not stopping for anybody.
I always like to look around & see what cute things other bloggers have come up with for back to school. Here are my best finds:
Because who doesn’t need a morning routine??
What an adorable printable to give to a teacher or to use for yourself.
My Miss Neenee loves a lunchbox joke. I’m sure your sweeties will, too. Just print these off & slip them in their lunchbox.
Also, on thirtyhandmadedays.com there are a plethora of ideas for back to school organizing. Just looky here-
I also talked to my Miss Neenee & my sweet Wednesday night Bible class students about kindness. I told them how important it was to be Christ like & show kindness to everybody. Especially those that don’t deserve it. They need it the most. We also talked about bullying. I asked them what should they do if they see somebody being mean to someone else?
One sweet girl said, “Go tell a teacher.”
I also reminded them they could take up for the person getting bullied, too. That sometimes will make a bully stop in their tracks. No one admitted to ever being bullied, however, I wanted it to be fresh on their minds. That way, they would be able to react the way Jesus wanted them to.Ephesians 4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
I sure hope you are having a good week. It has been a smidge busy around our house. With school starting & whathaveyou. I have also been shelling peas, making some pickles, & putting up green beans just like it’s my job. I may make a good homemaker before long. You just never can tell about those things.
Also, this year while Miss Neenee was selling Girl Scout cookies, I made the executive decision to buy some & put them in the freezer. I have been partaking of some of those here of late. After a stressful day at work, one does not realize the power a Samoa can have over you. My pre-Girl Scout cookie weight was a little more easy on the eyes than what I have had going on as recently as this morning when I got on the scales & to my dismay decided maybe I should give up on the Girl Scout cookies. I perhaps may need to give them to my daughter. She’s eating all kinds of strange things lately because she’s having another BABY! You heard me right. Another sweet thing to cuddle & spoil & kiss & hug. To say we are delighted is truly an understatement. So, now you know what all is going on with me. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Until next time, I will be going, because I should be washing clothes.
